But as the Lepharists invaded, the last of the Life Daeva were forced into hiding and ultimately disappeared. Though this cave once sheltered them, it now stands empty and forgotten, stripped of its original purpose.

Tifus, a Life Daeva, secretly moved the bodies of the fallen to a secluded cavern in the hopes that his kin could return to AION's embrace. However, AION's fall made it impossible for the dead to return to Odyle. Instead, they rotted within the cave, mutating into vile contaminations. Tifus, who sought only to grant his fellow Daeva their final rest, succumbed to the contamination as well. Burdened by resentment and unable to return to Odyle, he remains forever entombed within the dark cavern as a revenant.
