Atheron’s dark ambitions and Chloris’s bitter defeat sent shockwaves through the Dawn Legion and the residents of Lacephin Village. Chloris finally regained consciousness, but her physical wounds paled to her despair over the loss of the Artifact and a suffocating sense of inferiority to Atheron. Only Phernos’s harsh reprimand was able to snap her out of her brooding, and with her heart steeled once more, she resolved to challenge Atheron again.
