"This is life outside the Bulwark." An ominous atmosphere hung over Verdandi's Altar as you approached. Elvida, who had collapsed nearby, warned of dangers within with her dying breath. Inside the altar stood Indnath, who had pursued Nemon ever since Altgard. The bodies of Verdandi and Skuld lay cold at his feet. As expected of the commander of the Lagta Brigade, Indnath proved a formidable opponent. Just as the situation was turning desperate, Kromede appeared and helped you escape. It seemed Kromede was also aware of the secret the sisters intended to share, and she suggested continuing the discussion at her Sky Island base. News of the Nornir sisters' deaths soon reached Gottfried, the chief of Patamor Village. Having been briefed by Moreuk, he was already aware that formidable Balaur forces were pursuing Nemon. Enraged, Gottfried accused Nemon of causing the Nornir's demise, calling her a walking calamity.
