We're paying the price for underestimating Meslamtaeda's poison.
"We're paying the price for underestimating Meslamtaeda's poison." Monsters appeared at the Purifying Altar, throwing the area into chaos. After helping the legionnaires defeat the giant insects, you learned what had happened. After removing Meslamtaeda's poison, an attempt was made to purify the altar once more for use, but the toxic aura had already corroded it too greatly, drawing more venomous insects to the area. The disturbance was finally contained after treating the wounded and eliminating the remaining threats, but the Purifying Altar is unlikely to be usable again for some time.
